After I put the tranny in Drive or Reverse with my foot on the brake the engine revs start going down and the 318 starts stumbling, like it's gonna shut off. I could not LOWER my idle using the idle set screw because once the engine slowed down to 1200 rpm it would immediately die. When I came to a stop, the car stalled. Maybe three minutes. No change in RPM. Idling around 1200 RPM in park and will drop right away down to around 400 RPM and subsequently die when put in reverse or first. Well its been sitting a few weeks so I went to go start it up. no sputtering or lag, just stalls out right away. I'm hoping someone can give me a direction to look.
